Be Still and Trust the Process

Have you ever found yourself stuck in a long line, impatiently waiting for your turn? In those moments, it feels like there is nothing much we can do except be patient and wait. But have you ever considered that waiting in line can teach us valuable lessons about life?

All good things require patience. It is said that waiting in line is one of those times when we can truly practice patience. Instead of fretting and rushing through the process, we can choose to be still and trust the journey we are on.

In today's fast-paced world, stillness may seem like a foreign concept. We are constantly bombarded with distractions, and being aware of our surroundings can be quite a challenge. But let's take a moment to talk about the importance of stillness and awareness.

Meditation, or mindfulness, or whatever you want to call it, offers a path to total awareness. It doesn't have to be some complex exercise that only a select few can master. It is about finding that place where silence is loud and embracing it. It is about quieting the chaos around us and tuning in to the present moment.

So this week, as we embark on a journey down Silent Street 🤫. Together, let's cultivate stillness, practice patience, and trust the process we are going through. Embrace the quiet moments, for they hold immense clarity and

Meditation is about bringing total awareness to our thoughts and emotions and learning to listen and hear beyond the physical world. It is not just a lengthy exercise to be done once in a while, but rather it should become a part of our daily routine, as natural and consistent as our breath. 🧘🏽‍♂️

In this fast-paced world filled with distractions and chaos, our minds often need to unlearn the ways of our external influences. As we grow older, we are taught to seek a better heaven outside of ourselves, to believe in a God who is sitting high and unreachable, until we prove our worth. But let me tell you a little story that reminded me of the stillness that lies within us.

Every day, I observe my twelve-month-old son as he explores the world around him. Sometimes, he leaves the hustle and bustle of our living room and quietly settles in front of the bedroom mirror. In complete silence, he sits there, admiring the image of himself reflected back at him. It is in these moments that I am reminded that stillness is in our nature – that calm and pure state of being that we all possess.

So, let's embark on this journey of self-discovery together, Badimo Child. Let's explore the beauty of stillness and reconnect with that inner peace we were born with. 🌟

Remember, meditation is not about achieving some grandiose state of enlightenment. It is about finding peace in the present moment, regardless of the chaos that surrounds us. It is about accepting and acknowledging our thoughts and emotions, without judgment or attachment. By practicing meditation, we can learn to observe our minds and gain a better understanding of who we truly are.

I invite you all to join me on this beautiful path of self-discovery, as we learn to embrace stillness and bring awareness to every thought and emotion that arises within us. Let's be like my little son, finding solace in the quiet moments of reflection and appreciation.

Welcome, Badimo Child, to this journey of self-discovery. Let's explore the beauty of stillness.

Every time I hear about meditation 🧘‍♀️ and I wonder 💭 what it’s actually means? How does one go about meditating without understanding the word. I try to be quiet and I realise I can’t stop thinking about things that goes through my mind. Is it normal? How does one master meditation?
