“Balance is not stillness— it’s sacred motion, guided by purpose.”

Another month gone too soon, yet somehow it also felt like it dragged on forever. June is barely halfway through, and I already find myself wondering what day it is—to my surprise I see we’ve entered the double digits already.
Some call it adulting—I simply call it life. A life that constantly invites us to pause, reflect, and realign… even when the world doesn’t slow down.
This month, I’ve been directed inward. Spirit gently asked me to reflect—not just on where I’m going, but on where I’ve been, and most importantly, where I am.
It hasn’t been a comfortable process, but it has been necessary.
"Finding Balance" is not just a theme for June.
It’s a task. An assignment.
An ongoing experience that demands presence and honesty.
It’s not about having all the answers—it’s about being willing to explore the questions.
🌿 What Is Balance? 🌿
For me, I’ve come to define balance as:
The art of honouring your energy, your calling, your humanity, and your peace—without abandoning yourself in the process.
It’s the mindful practice of giving attention where it’s needed most, in a way that doesn’t rob other parts of your life.

Balance doesn’t mean doing everything at the same time.
It means knowing when to lean in and when to pull back.
When to rest. When to speak. When to pour. When to receive.
It is sacred. It is daily. And it is deeply personal.
As I wait for your insights in the comments section 😊, I know this may not be the final definition—but for me, in this moment, it makes sense. And it’s enough.
🧭 Is Balance the Same as Alignment?
I asked myself this question—especially because over the past few months, I’ve been deeply focused on alignment.
And here’s what I’ve discovered through Spirit-led reflection:
• Alignment is when your spirit, thoughts, choices, and actions are in sync with your purpose and calling.
• Balance is how you manage and honour all the moving parts of your life while staying aligned.
The truth is—you can be spiritually aligned and still physically and emotionally out of balance.
I know this, because I’ve been there. And truthfully, I still find myself there some days.
For the longest time, I was busy “doing the work,” while quietly neglecting the very vessel doing it—me.
So, I ask you:
Do you feel aligned? Do you feel balanced?
What would that look like for you—being aligned in balance, or balanced in alignment?
🔄 How Balance and Alignment Work Together

Balance and alignment are not the same—but they are deeply connected. For me, they complete and protect one another.
• Alignment gives your life direction.
• Balance gives that direction longevity.
When I am balanced:
• I stay aligned longer.
• I recover more easily when life throws me off track.
• I honour my truth while remaining present to my responsibilities and relationships.
Without balance, alignment became draining.
Without alignment, balance felt meaningless.
🔥 Spirit-Led Conversations That Brought Me Here 🔥
To be honest, this theme wasn’t planned. It came as a gentle suggestion from someone in my community:
“I feel our theme for June should be: Finding Balance.”
That one sentence planted a seed.
As I began to reflect, journal, research, and speak to others—something clicked.
I realised: I’m already there.
I’ve unknowingly stepped into a season where balance and alignment are not in conflict.
They are finally coexisting within me.
• I am no longer anxious about the waiting list.
• I am no longer shaken by people who leave my space because they lack patience or spiritual awareness.
• I now fully embody the truth that healing comes through me—not from me.
It feels surreal to be at peace right now—when so much seems stagnant, uncertain, or overwhelming.
Even when the to-do list is long. Even when the demands are many.
Even when life drops bombs from every angle…
I am at peace.
And honestly, I am finding that things are falling into place effortlessly.
That, for me, is Finding Balance.

But your version of balance won’t—and can’t—look like mine.
And even for me, it may shift again next month.
For now, peace is knowing what’s important, what can wait, and what must be let go.
Peace is upholding my boundaries—because that’s what keeps me aligned and balanced across all my roles.
🛑 When Do You Need to Find Balance?
Here’s how I know it’s time to recalibrate:
• I’m tired before the day even begins
• I feel resentment creeping into my sacred work
• I say yes more often than my spirit can carry
• I’m easily shaken by other people’s expectations
• I carry guilt—for doing too much and for doing too little
• I write unrealistic checklists that never get done
• I’m tired but can’t sleep (insomnia)
• I’m busy, but not productive
These are just a few. I’d love for you to add yours in the comments.
What I’m learning is:
These aren’t failures. They are sacred invitations to return to our centre.
💫 Balance Is Not a Luxury—It’s a Discipline
Balance is not about privilege. It’s about practice.
It’s a conscious choice to honour your rhythm, even when the world demands urgency.
And that sometimes means setting boundaries that feel uncomfortable to others—but are healing for you.
That’s why I continue to honour my boundaries by:
• Working strictly by appointment
• Asking that you choose a time and platform where you can be fully present and prepared
• Beginning and ending sessions on time, out of respect for all energies involved
• Saying no, even to beautiful opportunities, when my spirit asks for stillness
• Operating only within my set working hours
These aren’t just policies—they’re spiritual practices.
They allow me to show up fully grounded and aligned- so that I can serve you better.
✨ For Now, Ask Yourself:
What does balance look like for me today?
Not in theory—but in breath, in practice, in boundaries.
It won’t be perfect. It will evolve.
But peace is possible.
And sometimes, peace is the most powerful proof of alignment.
Stillness is the most active state of being—when you are balanced.
I am Gogo_Noma, and this month, I am finding balance.
